Multi-Tenancy, organizations & workspaces

In B2B SaaS applications, all users are usually grouped into tenants. Each of your business customers is represented as a tenant. The related users and all the data are fully isolated.

You may use another term, like organization, workspace, or team. For instance, if you are using Slack, then you know that your team members are grouped into a "workspace".

Functionalities

The term “tenant” is quite technical. In most scenarios, another term is used. For instance, you may call your customers “companies” or group your users into “workspaces”. ROQ enables you to use whatever name fits you.
If multi-tenancy is enabled on your project, new users can enter their tenant's name (e.g., their company's name) during signup. The new tenant is created at ROQ and can also be synchronized to your database.
Users can invite other users into their tenant. For instance, a user could invite team members into their organization. Users can also define the role of the newly invited user.
If you combine multi-tenancy with ROQ’s advanced access management capability, you can easily represent multi-tenancy in your application.

Console

Enjoy a clear overview of all your users, their roles and groups, as well as individual settings. You can easily invite new users to your SaaS application or delete unneeded users in a GDPR compliant matter. What makes our user management stand out is the close integration with authentication, user groups, and access management features.
